16-year-old boy is injured after crashing into a tree Friday evening in Escambia County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
A report says the Jay teen lost control of his red pickup truck on Fannie Road, north of Carnley Road. He swerved off the roadway and hit the tree at around 5:30 p.m.
An ambulance drove the teen to a hospital, according to the report. FHP says he’s in critical condition following the crash. No details further regarding his injuries were released.
FHP says the crash is still under investigation.
