One person was detained after a juvenile was fatally shot in the Hogan’s Creek neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Police said at 3:56 p.m., they received a report of someone shot on the 700 block of Venus Mars Court.
JSO found the juvenile suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital by the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department where he died.
Detectives detained one person and said they don’t know the circumstances or the relationships between those involved.
