Lanes of Interstate 295 north of State Road 9B have reopened following a crash that left a semitruck on its side, blocking all five interstate lanes.

The crash happened at approximately 1:35 p.m. Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Northbound lanes of I-295 at E-Town Parkway and I-295 at Philips Highway were closed due to the crash.

FHP said the semitruck and a pickup truck crashed as both vehicles were traveling north on I-295, causing the semitruck to overturn and block all lanes of traffic.

FDOT cameras showed crews breaking the semitruck apart on I-295 as the contents inside spilled out onto the roadway. Right now, it’s unclear what the semitruck was transporting.

The driver of the semitruck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was no injured, according to FHP.
