Ichiban Buffet in Leesburg is temporarily closed after a vehicle crashed into the front entrance of the building, causing structural damage to the facility.
The restaurant, which is located at 10301 U.S. Hwy. 441, announced the temporary closure on Wednesday morning.
According to the organization, a car crashed into the building on Tuesday night, causing significant damage near the main entryway.
Photos from the scene show the vehicle struck the exterior wall directly adjacent to the glass entrance doors, buckling the outer masonry facade and shattering the window frame.
Management issued an official statement on Wednesday morning confirming the temporary closure while repairs are underway.
“We are moving fast to get fixed and open our doors again. Keep an eye on this page for reopening news,” reads part of the statement issued by the restaurant.
Updates on the reopening of the restaurant will be shared on the business’s social media pages as work progresses.
