A man was arrested Saturday night after barging into his neighbor’s house and stabbing a woman with a knife in Lehigh Acres.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home on 21st Street SW for a disturbance between duplex neighbors.
While at the scene, deputies learned neighbors got into an argument.
LCSO said the victim closed their garage and locked their doors while the suspect, A H, 56, grabbed a knife.
H started banging on the door of the victim’s residence.
The sheriff’s office states when the victim opened the door, H stopped inside and slashed at the victim, injuring their hand.
The victim was able to push H out the door, where he continued to stab the door.
Deputies found H in the garage covered in blood.
Everyone was medically cleared at the scene.
LCSO said H was charged with burglary and assault.
