A 58-year-old Macclenny man died Thursday morning when his vehicle crossed the US 301 Highway median in Bradford County and crashed into a ditch.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving northbound on US 301 at 2:25 a.m. near NE 185th St. (Mark Lee Starling Road) north of Starke when his vehicle crossed the median and crashed into a grass ditch on the southbound shoulder of US 301.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
