A 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Saturday morning, Orlando police say.
Just after midnight, officers responded at the 1900 block of East Colonial Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim — who police identified as J M. D S — was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to police, witnesses reported an altercation between the suspect and the victim, after which the suspect fled the scene.
No other information has been provided.
