An altercation in the Village of Wellington led to a man and woman being shot dead Saturday afternoon.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) the shooting occurred on Galleria Street. Deputies responded to the scene at 5:25 p.m. and located a man and woman who were dead from gunshot wounds.
Deputies were able to identify Norman Scott, 63, as the man who shot both victims.
The shooting is being investigated as a double homicide, the sheriff’s office says.
