Man arrested after police allege he threatened to stab 7-Eleven workers

Police have arrested a man who threatened to stab two 7-Eleven gas station employees with a knife.

It happened at 7-Eleven on Skyline Boulevard in Cape Coral at around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Cape Coral police said Blake Montroy tried to steal snacks and booze, and when employees began to follow him in the store, he pulled out a blade and said he would stab them.

He then dropped the items and ran from the scene. However, police caught up with him soon after and found him with the knife and some drugs.

Police said Montroy stole $131.89 in alcohol and snacks from the 7-Eleven.
