An 18-year-old man connected to a fatal shooting in Florida City was arrested.
K T was charged with second-degree murder with a weapon.
According to police, F turned himself in Friday morning and is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
The fatal shooting happened on Thursday in the area of Palm Drive and U.S.-1.
According to the arrest report, F and the victim were traveling westbound on Southwest 344th Street. He was driving a Toyota, while the victim was in the passenger side seat of a Ford F-150 truck.
When the two vehicles stopped, F grabbed a gun and flashed it at the victim. The victim then got out of truck and told F to stop threatening him.
F then shot the victim, struck him multiple times in the torso and fled the scene.
When officers arrived, they found the man laying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The man was assessed by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and was airlifted to Jackson South Trauma, where he later died.
His identity has not been released.
The arrest report states that F is related to the people that were in the truck with the victim. The driver and the front passengers identified F as their nephew.
