Man attempts to kidnap woman outside hospital before trying to kidnap teen in South Miami, police say

The same man who tried to kidnap a 16-year-old girl last week in South Miami had attempted to kidnap a 38-year-old woman about 35 minutes before nearby.

According to Sgt. FB, a South Miami Police Department spokesman, surveillance video shows BG attacking a woman at 10:50 p.m., on Wednesday.

The woman was outside South Miami Hospital where there were security guards, police said.

“She ran to an office where the doctor came out and he got spooked and he left,” B said.

After his kidnapping attempt failed, B said G drove to the Sunset Tavern where he was involved in a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot while driving with a suspended license.

“He tries to park his car, hits another car, and flees the scene,” B said.

G then went on to try to abduct the teenage girl at 11:15 p.m., on Wednesday, along Southwest 86 Street, near 62 Avenue, in South Miami, police said.

“I was on the phone with my friends walking and then a car pulled up, 10 feet in front of me, and then some guy came out and tried to grab me,” the victim, who suffered cuts, and bruises, told Local 10 News.

According to the arrest report, the teenage girl reported G reeked of alcohol. B said several witnesses did not intervene or call police.

G, who is from the Brox, New York, is facing two counts of kidnapping and two counts of battery. His next hearing is Friday.
