A man died on Saturday after losing control of his car while not wearing a seatbelt.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 35-year-old man was traveling south on Panther Parkway near Memorial Drive.
He was turning a curve in the road when, FHP said, he lost control of the vehicle causing it to rotate and overturn.
The driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where FHP said he later died due to his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
