Early Thursday morning, a 32-year-old man from Panama City is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Bay County, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
At 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning, a driver of a black Nissan Frontier pickup truck was traveling northbound on State Road 79 near School Drive in the left inside travel lane when they collided with an unknown object. Shortly after the collision, it was discovered the driver of the pickup truck had collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene. The crash is still under investigation according to FHP.
