A 55-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night on U.S. Highway 17 and Little Brown Church Road, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said just after 9 p.m., the man was driving north on the 17 in an SUV when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed southbound lanes and was ejected.
The SUV flipped and landed on top of the man, FHP said.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
