TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured on Friday.
A man was found with a single gunshot wound at the scene, located on North 11th Street near East Seward Street. He suffered non-life-threating injuries.
Police said Sulphur Springs Elementary School was on lock-in status in an abundance of caution.
Officers are actively working to locate the suspect and determine what events led up to the shooting.
