The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a man was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting at an inn on the Westside on Sunday morning.
Police said they responded to reports of gunfire at the APM Inn and Suites at 510 South Lane Avenue and found a woman in her mid-20s and a man in his 30s both shot.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue took the woman to the hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg and said the man died at the scene.
