One man was shot on Sunday afternoon during a fight in Escambia County, according to deputies.
The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. on the 5600 block of Nicholas Lane.
26-year-old Thaddeus English was still on the scene and taken into custody when deputies arrived, according to ECSO.
English is being held in Escambia County Jail on charges of attempted homicide with no bond.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says the man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
