Man struck, killed by Amtrak train in West Palm Beach, police say.

A man was struck and killed by a southbound Amtrak train in West Palm Beach on Wednesday night.

Spokesperson for the West Palm Beach Police Department, Mike Jachles said the man – possibly homeless – was struck on the tracks about 1,000 feet north of 15th Street, near Windsor Avenue.

Police said the area reopened by 10:30 p.m.
