OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Officials with Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) said they responded to a garage fire near Marion Oaks early Sunday morning and no injuries were reported.
MCFR firefighters posted on social media that they responded to the 13000 block of Southwest 60th Court Road in Ocala.
They arrived around 12:57 a.m. and found half of the house to be on fire.
The garage was fully on fire and was not able to be secured, firefighters said.
The residents were not home at the time of the fire.
The fire was called under control at 1:32am.
No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported on scene.
MCFR officials said the cause and origin of the fire is under investigation.
