A woman from Miami has been arrested in Collier County after fleeing a traffic stop where the driver hit four parked cars at the Legacy Apartments of Naples.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy attempted a traffic stop at Davis and Collier boulevards early Wednesday morning due to a car driving without lights on.
The car sped from the deputy at around 115 miles per hour and crashed with the parked vehicles at Campania Way.
The driver and the passenger, 19-year-old Hilary Perez, fled on foot.
Perez was arrested, but the driver has not been found.
Surveillance footage from the scene also showed a third suspect exiting the car after the crash.
Perez has been charged with resisting without violence and was transported to Naples Jail Center.
She’s being held on $500 bond.
