A 31-year-old man is behind bars tonight after firing multiple rounds at another vehicle in an apparent road rage incident, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect was driving a white Ford pickup truck and fired multiple rounds at another vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 95 just south of Midway Road.
“At this time, our initial investigation suggests that the suspect in this case may have been involved in minor traffic accident with the victim’s vehicle, which appears to have escalated into road rage,” said Sheriff Keith Pearson. “The suspect is in custody, and there is no immediate danger to the public.”
