Mobile home destroyed in Davie fire

A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a mobile home in Davie, but no injuries or casualties were reported, authorities said.

Davie firefighters responded to the blaze around 2:42 a.m. at a mobile home located at 4600 Griffin Road.

Crews arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames, according to Frank Suriano, deputy chief of Davie Fire Rescue.

Suriano said the fire was contained and no surrounding properties were affected. Authorities said the home, which was unoccupied at the time, is considered a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and no other details were immediately released.
