Motorcycle crash shuts down lanes of Highway 19 in Pinellas Park, police say

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — A motorcycle crash has shut down lanes of Highway 19 in Pinellas Park, according to police.

A motorcycle was traveling north in the 8200 block of US Highway 19 in the median lane, police said. A car was traveling south and made a left turn in front of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the car, according to police. There were two people on the motorcycle at the time of the crash, one who has life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. As of Monday night, there are no criminal charges related to the crash.
