HUDSON, Fla. (WFLA) — One person is dead and four others were hospitalized following a Pasco County crash on Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Around 10:25 p.m., a 21-year-old New Port Richey man was traveling westbound on SR-52 on a KTM motorcycle.
At the same time, a 51-year-old Holiday man, carrying three passengers in a Mitsubishi Outlander, was traveling eastbound on SR-52, approaching the intersection of Parkwood Street.
FHP said at that intersection, the driver of the Mitsubishi made a left turn into the path of the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash.
The Holiday man, along with a 16-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries. The 48-year-old woman in the vehicle suffered serious injuries from the crash. All four in the Mitsubishi were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
