A 45-year-old Lehigh Acres man died in a crash along Leeland Heights Boulevard East (CR-884) near North Avenue.
The crash happened at approximately 6:52 p.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was riding a motorcycle heading east on CCR-884 in the inside lane.
A 31-year-old Lehigh Acres woman was driving an SUV and turned onto CR-884 from North Avenue.
The SUV entered the path of the motorcycle, and the front of the motorcycle collided with the SUV.
Troopers said the man suffered critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital, and was later pronounced dead. The Lehigh Acres woman suffered minor injuries, according to the report.
FHP said the crash remains under investigation.
