Motorcyclist hospitalized after West Palm Beach crash

A crash in West Palm Beach has left a motorcyclist hospitalized.

The West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) reported that on Tuesday, around 8 p.m., a motorcycle was driving northbound on Australian Avenue near Okeechobee Boulevard.

The report states that at the same time, a vehicle heading southbound on the same road made a U-turn, turning directly in front of the motorcyclist.

Officials noted that the motorcycle had low visibility due to a lack of functioning headlight housing, contributing to the crash.

The motorcyclist was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
