A 50-year-old man has died after losing control of his motorcycle in Marion County.
The incident occurred late last night, just before 11:30 PM. The man was traveling north on U.S. 301 in Citra when he drifted out of his lane and struck a curb.
According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, the impact caused the man to lose control of his motorcycle, which flipped before coming to a stop in the center median.
He was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
