A three-vehicle crash along U.S.-27 caused southbound lanes to be shut down near Bass Road Thursday night.
According to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at approximately 6:45 p.m.
NBC2 is working to find out if anyone was injured in the crash.
HCSO also said another crash happened in the traffic near the first crash around 7 p.m. According to deputies, the second crash involved two vehicles and minor injuries were reported.
As of 8:41 p.m., both lanes of U.S.-27 were reopened but deputies warned drivers that the Florida Highway Patrol and a tow vehicle were still on the scene.
