Multiple people, including at least two children, were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning.

FHP says the incident occurred around10:08 a.m. on Pine Road near state road 297 and Godwin Lane, close to the entrance of the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds.

NorthEscambia.com reported that a 5-year-old Massachusetts girl was ejected from one of the vehicles during the crash.

A second 6-year-old Massachusetts girl was also injured in one of the vehicles, according to NorthEscambia.com.

A 39-year-old Massachusetts man and a 29-year-old Cantonment man were also injured in the crash, according to FHP.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash failed to yield right of way from a stop sign and entered the path of travel of an SUV. The

SUV lost control after impact and ran off the roadway and collided with the front of a nearby business, Elegant Kitchen & Bath.

The Florida Highway Patrol says all parties were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Escambia County EMS, Escambia Fire Rescue, and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash, which completely shut down Pine Forest Road.
