No injuries after car plows into childcare center

No one was injured after a woman crashed through a daycare center on Wednesday.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. at the Quality Learning Child Care Center, Inc. on School Ave in Springfield.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 29-year-old Panama City woman accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake when she attempted to park at the daycare.

Florida Highway Patrol officials said there were 6 children and 3 adults in the building at the time of the incident.

FHP officials confirmed that no one was injured, however, the building is visibly damaged.

First responders covered the gap with caution tape after removing the vehicle with a tow truck.
