Ocala man dies, hit by 2 cars while crossing highway: Florida Highway Patrol

A man died on Sunday after being struck by two cars while trying to cross a highway.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, The 62-year-old Ocala man was walking along the road when he attempted to cross the highway north of CR-466.

At the same time, a GMC pickup truck and an Acura sedan were traveling north on CR-475.

The man entered the road where, FHP said, he was struck by both vehicles in succession.

According to FHP, the man died at the scene.

Neither driver suffered any injuries as a result of the crash.
