An Ocala man was killed on Sunday morning after his pickup truck left a local roadway and crashed into a tree.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the 82-year-old man was driving a pickup truck southbound on NW 80th Avenue on Sunday, May 26, at around 10:20 a.m.

The vehicle, which was pulling a utility trailer, veered off the left side of the roadway before it collided with a tree on the east grass shoulder.
