One dead after Brightline crash in Lake Worth

A deadly crash involving a Brightline train an a pedestrian left a person dead Sunday.

The collision was reported around 10 p.m. near the tracks off 210 N G St. and Lucerne Avenue in Lake Worth. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the pedestrian involved. They were pronounced dead by paramedics. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.

No other injuries were reported by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
