One dead after two-vehicle crash on Rattlesnake Hammock Road

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left one dead in the area of Rattlesnake Hammock Road and St. Andrews Boulevard.

FHP said 2012 Nissan and a 2023 Lincoln collided around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday.

The 82-year-old Lincoln driver was reportedly taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The identity of those involved has not been shared at this time.

FHP said this crash remains under investigation.
