PBSO urges public to share tips on Belle Glade shooting that left one dead

BELLE GLADE, Fla. (CBS12) — Deputies are investigating a Belle Glade shooting on Saturday morning that claimed a man’s life.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) stated that they had responded to Lakeside Medical Center due to a man receiving treatment for gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center by trauma hawk, where he later died.

PBSO’s initial investigation revealed that the shooting occurred on West Avenue A and Southwest 8th Street in Belle Glade at around 4:50 a.m.

The report states that detectives are currently investigating this as a homicide, and the details surrounding the suspects are unknown at this time.
