One person is dead after an incident in Tice Friday afternoon.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, they are investigating a “very active scene” on Montgomery Avenue.
Two women were originally rushed to the hospital, but now only one remains in critical condition.
Deputies were still at the scene days later combing through evidence.
They said they are working on leads and completing interviews.
Deputies are asking the public to remain clear from the area while they continue to work the scene.
It’s still unclear how the two people were injured.
