A car accident Thursday kills one and sends another to the hospital in Bradenton.
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office says it happened just before 7 P.M. in the 1600 block of 22nd St. West.
The Sheriff’s Office conducted radar in the area and the victim’s car passed a deputy’s car parked on the side speeding on 26th St. West.
The deputy pulled out to follow the victim’s vehicle.
The driver tried to get away which led to a chase.
The lead vehicle then crashed into a tree killing the driver and the passenger was taken to an area hospital as a trauma alert.
Both of the victims are men, and the investigation continues.
