The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal collision on Sunday.
According to a news release, it happened just before 4:30 p.m. on State Road 20, west of Hancock Camp Road.
Officials said a 41-year-old man from DeFuniak Springs, driving a motorcycle, was traveling westbound on State Road 20.
A 51-year-old man from Freeport was driving a sedan traveling eastbound when the motorcycle entered into the eastbound lanes and into the path of the sedan.
As a result, the front of the motorcycle collided with the front of the sedan, officials wrote.
Officials confirmed that the driver of the motorcycle died due to his injuries, and the driver of the sedan faced minor injuries.
