One killed, another injured in separate ATV crashes.

A 47-year-old Chipley woman was killed in an ATV crash in Washington County Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

In a separate incident, a 19-year-old Altha man was critically injured in an ATV crash in Calhoun County early Sunday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the Altha man was sitting in the storage space area of a low-speed vehicle when he fell out. They added that the man sustained a head injury and was rushed to a hospital.

In the Saturday night incident troopers said the driver lost control of her ATV and it overturned. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both crashes remain under investigation.
