A double-shooting that killed one man and left another injured is under investigation in unincorporated Lake Worth.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said on Thursday at 9:45 p.m., deputies responded to several reports of shots fired near the intersection of Melaleuca Lane and Davis Road.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg along Davis Road. Following more leads, the sheriff’s office said deputies then came across the body of a man along Melaleuca Lane.
Detectives with theViolent Crimes Division have taken over the investigations into these shootings and are currently looking for information into a potential motive and suspects.
Anyone with information into the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at1-800-458-TIPS (8477). If your tip leads to an arrest, you may receive a cash reward.
