One person dead after Hillsborough County residence catches fire

One person is dead after a residence caught fire on Saturday, according to the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.

According to HCFR, around 4:43 p.m. responders were dispatched to a single-story residence on Garden Quilt Circle.

Upon arrival, crew members said flames were shooting up through the house’s roof.

It took fifteen minutes for responders to get the blaze under control.

After searching the residents, HCFR crew members discovered the body of one person.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
