Deputies in Pasco County are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that left one person dead in the Wesley Chapel area.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday near Old Pasco Road and Dayflower Boulevard. Investigators say a man was found dead at the scene and is believed to have been shot by another man.
The suspect reportedly ran away from the area before law enforcement arrived.
Deputies say this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
An investigation is ongoing.
