A person has died and two others were injured after a vehicle struck a tree in Pinellas Park on Saturday, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of a crash in the area of 70th Ave N and 49th St. N.
On arrival, they found that a Silver Nissan Versa had driven into a tree in the median.
All three of the vehicle’s occupants were taken to a nearby hospital where Police said that one of them later died due to their injuries.
Police noted that the crash itself did not appear to be caused by speeding or impairment.
