One person hospitalized in two-vehicle crash near High Springs

High Springs firefighters say one person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on I-75 Sunday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m., Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers reported a major crash on I-75 in High Springs near County Road 236.

One person was sent to the hospital with traumatic injuries.

Drivers are being warned to slow down.

The accident was blocking the left and center travel lanes as of 4:07 p.m.

The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
