One person was injured and trauma-alerted to a hospital after a fire broke out at the Goodlette Arms Apartments around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Greater Naples Fire Rescue District and other fire crews responded to the scene to extinguish the flames.
We were informed that, due to the fire, it is unclear whether the victim will be displaced because of the damage done to their apartment complex. According to the Goodlette Arms Apartments’ website, the complex is dedicated to seniors.
NBC2 is still working to learn more from fire crews about the identity of the victim, the extent of their injuries, and the cause of the fire.
Greater Naples Fire told NBC2 that an investigator is working to determine the cause of the fire.
