Orlando man faces felony charges after road rage shooting

Orlando police arrested EJ on Nov. 18 after he allegedly shot at another driver following a minor car accident near Roberto Clemente Middle School.

Police say J pulled a gun and shot at another driver around 2:30 p.m. near Yucatan Drive.

When officers arrived, they found J holding a man at gunpoint.

Police say J and the victims were involved in a minor crash nearby at Yucatan and Lake Underhill.

The police report states J chased the other car after the fender bender, yelling for them to stop.

When the other car stopped, police say J pulled out a gun and walked over.

When the other car tried to get away, officers say J fired his gun twice, causing the car to go into a ditch.

J allegedly walked up to the car, and the driver jumped out, leaving his passenger inside.

Police say J told the passenger to get out, took his phone, and hit him.

Shortly after, police arrived, and J was taken into custody.

J faces several felony charges, including shooting into an occupied vehicle and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
