Orlando man wanted after shooting ex-girlfriend, man at Sanford apartment, police say

 Sanford police are searching for an Orlando man who is accused of shooting two people early Saturday morning. 

Santana Sutton, 51, is accused of shooting Lakechia Jackson and James Williams outside her apartment complex on Barewood Lane. The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. when police responded to the area and found Jackson and James with gunshot wounds, police said. 

An altercation happened when Sutton arrived at Jackson’s apartment on Saturday. Sutton fled the area following the shooting. He also has a prior arrest warrant unrelated to this incident, police said. 

Anyone with information on Sutton’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sanford Police Department or Crimeline at 800-423-8477. 

Both Williams and Jackson’s current conditions are unknown at this time.
