Fire rescue responded to an overturned vacuum truck around 3 p.m. Tuesday blocking southbound lanes on Military Trail in Jupiter, causing rush hour delays.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 4500 block of Military Trail in Jupiter for an overturned vacuum truck blocking multiple lanes.
The semi-truck-sized vacuum truck’s driver was unharmed and did not require transport to a local hospital according to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR).
Multiple fluids reportedly leaked from the truck, and the fuel spill and runoff were contained and stopped.
However, hydraulic fluid also leaked as a result of the crash and PBCFR Special Operations is currently working to stop it.
PBCFR advises drivers to expect delays in the area for the start of rush hour.
Jupiter Police Department will be conducting a crash investigation.
