A Palm Harbor man died Wednesday after being struck by an SUV while crossing the street.
The crash happened on Tampa Road near US-19 at 6:30 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The 44-year-old man was struck by the SUV, driven by a 41-year-old Palm Harbor woman, while walking south across Tampa Road. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
