Panama City man dies in early morning collision in Santa Rosa County

PALM COAST, Fla. —

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — A 33-year-old Panama City man is dead after a crash in Santa Rosa County on Tuesday morning.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 3:50 a.m. when the man was traveling east on US Highway 98 away from Edgewood Drive in the inside westbound lane.

A 68-year-old Milton man was also traveling west on US Highway 98 approaching Edgewood Drive in the inside lane.

The front of the Panama City man’s pickup truck collided with the front of the Milton man’s truck.

The 33-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene.
